Nicky Hilton Announces Hotel Chain with Clever Poster Board and Pasted Cutout Presentations

Most corporate product launches or presentations look professional—e.g., with PowerPoint presentations, overheads, slick lettering, etc. Most presentations worth over $100 million look even better. Unless you're Nicky Hilton and you're planning on launching a megaluxury hotel chain.

In that case, you use poster board, some cutouts, a few pictures—kind of like you were back in seventh grade and had to do a visual group project. More specifically, Nicky's stellar presentation appeared to center around collages on pink poster board, pictures of her, her clever logo (which is an H), what seemed to be a red Magic Marker drawing of a room, and two other boards with pictures clipped from magazines—a rug, a mirror and a table, and two gray posters—marked “Lobby” and “Lounge”—again with those magazine cutouts.

The “Nicky O” will offer condo units as well as transient lodging, with the condos starting at just under $500,000 and with penthouses priced at over $1 million. With a presentation like that, who can resist? We're buying.
